Geosystems Hellas participates in the HARMONIA Project presented at the 8th International Smart Data and Smart Cities Conference

Geosystems Hellas participated in the 8th International Smart Data and Smart Cities (SDSC) Conference with the Harmonia Project, which took place in Athens beginning of June.

A Decision Support Platform for Efficient Urban Planning Towards Smart Policy-Making, developed within the context of the HARMONIA Project was presented by Efthymios Magkoufis, Geoinformatics & Geospatial Software Engineer, Geosystems Hellas. This platform centralises diverse datasets and offers geospatial analytical tools allowing stakeholders to assess and address various urban hazards improving the efficiency of policy-making and enhancing urban resilience.

The HARMONIA Project represents a significant step forward to support cities in tackling the challenges posed by climate change through innovative solutions. Geosystems Hellas with the participation in the SDSC2024 Conference demonstrates its commitment to advancing smart city technologies and urban resilience by developing applications that cater to the needs of European cities against the risks of climate change and effective policy-making.
