THEIA

THEIA project  is about enhancing Copernicus Security Services – EU governmental crisis management hub for forced population displacement. The implementation of THEIA, integrating data fusion, processing, and analysis, particularly leveraging Geospatial Artificial Intelligence (GeoAI) and Machine Learning, is poised to enhance the efficacy of existing services significantly. Through the amalgamation of multi-temporal data and diverse datasets, THEIA empowers better decision-making and adapts to evolving policy and user needs. This technological advancement, bolstered by GeoAI, augments detection capabilities and ensures timely access to crucial information, bridging the gap between capabilities and stringent security demands

GEOSYSTEMS Hellas (GSH) is the Project Coordinator, responsible for managing both phases of the project. This includes overseeing project management activities, coordinating toward objectives, ensuring quality assurance and risk management, and developing the data management plan.In addition, GSH is responsible for key technical tasks, preparatory activities for technology validation, as well as lead the development of initial exploitation plans, along with activities related to business models.

The THEIA Project is not finished

This project will receive funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe programme – Space for Research/ Copernicus for Security under Grant Agreement: 101190051.
