We currently have a vacancy for an Assistant Project Manager in Athens. In this position you will participate in National and European R&D projects and interact with all necessary partners to design and implement the task deliverables on time.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and follow up a set of projects in some or all its their life cycle phases as well as enforce the delivery of the projects according to the agreed schedule, with the expected quality and with the resources provided.
  • Coordinate the projects’ various stakeholders and participate and contribute in meetings.
  • Writing of reports and deliverables.
  • Delivery within schedule.
  • Preparation of responses to calls for tenders.
  • Analyze the needs – help with the design.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related technical field. Relevant professional experience and/or familiarization with Geoinformatics, EO and Computer Vision processes is considered a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Communication skills.
  • Confidentiality.
  • Ability to produce minutes, notes, business cases, vision documents, service level agreements, terms of collaboration and planning schedules.
  • Fluency of the English language.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and follow up a set of projects in some or all its their life cycle phases as well as enforce the delivery of the projects according to the agreed schedule, with the expected quality and with the resources provided.
  • Understand the technological aspects of the project, including the risks and the success factors.
  • Work closely with the SW development team for the design and needs of new products.
  • Produce and review documents.
  • Coordinate the projects’ various stakeholders and participate and contribute in meetings.

 

Requirements

  • University degree in IT/ in engineering combined with relevant professional experience of minimum 5 years
  • In depth experience with Project Management tools and methodologies
  • Experience of large scale systems integration projects, preferably within EO and IT.
  • Ability to produce minutes, notes, business cases, vision documents, service level agreements, terms of collaboration and planning schedules
  • Familiarization with EO and Computer Vision best practices is considered a plus
  • Possession of a recognised certificate in project management is considered a plus
  • Fluency of the English language
