The BorderForce project develops an AI-driven platform that integrates satellite data, UAVs, ground sensors, and analytics to enhance border security and management in Europe. It provides real-time situational awareness and decision support to border authorities, helping detect and respond to cross-border threats while ensuring human rights and data protection compliance. The project aims to deliver interoperable, scalable, and cost-effective solutions for smarter and more resilient border management.
In the BorderForce project, GeoSystems Hellas (GSH) leads activities on communication, dissemination, exploitation, and standardisation. The company develops the exploitation strategy, manages stakeholder engagement, contributes to data standardisation (INSPIRE, OGC), and supports RPAS/UAV and satellite data operations. GSH ensures that the project’s results are visible, standardised, and ready for long-term sustainability and market uptake.
